'Framed' Part 2
For convenience and ease of operation in Langstroth style supers, NBR suggests you use frame spacers. (I use those designed for nine frames)Your frames will always be neat and properly aligned and when pulling a heavy frame of honey up through other bulky frames, they are much less likely to be damaged or gouged as standard nine or ten frames often are without the spacer. Safer for the queen too! I don’t recommend using them in the ‘hive body’ only in supers. Not nearly as messy, sticky or wasteful as standard ten frame set ups!
